Your projector is an investment. To keep it healthy, the manufacturer usually recommends regular air filter maintenance. The amount of time in between air filter replacements can vary depending on projector model and environment. If you use your projector often in under non-optimal conditions - such as in a smoke filled bar - the air filter can make the difference in your projector lasting a few months versus a few years.
